Our Story
My name is Katie, the face behind Little Indigo Sensory. I’m a Mama of two, located on the Gold Coast, Queensland.
After years of creating handmade treasures for my own children, I wanted to bring the same joy of wonder, imagination and creativity to the homes of others.
Although nervous about the market and all of the wonderful big brands that already existed, I persevered with the belief that there will always be a special place for the hand made.
There is no better gift than something that has been lovingly designed and made by hand.
Little Indigo was built off of a combination of my love of nature, small world play, and all things imaginary and enchanted. We strive to create timeless and unique play pieces, sensory bases and play based learning resources that tell stories, foster creativity, and independent play.
Children are only so little with such big
imaginations, for so long. We hope to be a part of keeping that imaginative spark alive, for as long as possible.
